2017’s Trends: Striped Shirt

This week I want to talk about a crucial trend of this 2017, which is present in most of this year's collections: The striped shirt.

Its success is mainly due to the fact that it can be used in formal, semi formal and informal events, the important thing is in knowing with which we must combine this piece. Also, it should be remembered that this print not only has been seen in shirts, but also in pants and jackets, making this style a must for 2017.

Striped shirts give us elegance and instant distinction, as well as giving us a unique and eye-catching style. The best strategy to achieve the perfect outfit, is based on the combination of strong colors, as in this case, where I am combining the blue stripes of the shirt, with black pants, next to a Motorcycle style jacket. This combination generates a strong and personal outfit, ideal to get out of the ordinary.

At first, the stripes on shirts, pants or jackets were clearly a work style, and were not thought of occupying these pieces during the weekend or other occasions. But, now the opposite thing happens, because despite being serious, along with more informal pieces can achieve a striking and stylish look.

Recommendations: Because we are already using a design in our shirt, the other pieces of the outfit should be plain, independent of the color, since we do not want to generate a mixture of patterns, not because it can not be done, but what we want to achieve is Strengthen the shirt above the rest.
